Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of All Progressives Congress, Yekini Nabena, has warned the presidential flagbearer of Labour Party, Peter Obi, not to rely on any support from his ‘Obidient’ movement ahead of the 2023 election.
Nabena disclosed that the former Anambra governor would be shocked to discover that the movement only exists on social media when the actual voting process begins.
The Bayelsa-born politician, who made the statement in Abuja on Wednesday, expressed confidence that the APC will secure nothing less than 2.1 million votes in the Niger Delta during the presidential election.
He said, “I can tell you that the so-called ‘Obedient movement’ only exists on social media and after the coming elections they will naturally turn to disobedient movement, and later obituary because the movement will naturally vamoose.
