The General Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, Tunde Bakare has spoken on the possibility of former president Goodluck Jonathan Joining the All Progressive Congress, APC.
The presidential aspirant shared his thoughts in a recent interview with Arise News.
He described the situation as a ‘tall order’ adding that the former president is welcome to join the race and wished him the best.
According to him: “Goodluck Jonathan is most welcome if he chooses to join the race at this time. Many people run a race, but only one gets crowned. I can only wish him all the best. A flag bearer will emerge from among the presidential aspirants when the time comes. He is a Nigerian, but some issues have to be resolved.
At what point did Goodluck Jonathan join the party? What regulations govern new members of the party? It might seem like a tall order if he hadn’t left the PDP within the past year. However, it is a welcome development that will make the race more competitive. May the best, brightest, and fittest emerge from both parties. May those who care about our country emerge as flag bearers of both parties so that our citizens can choose the best for our nation…
